Agent Setup - Comms

 

The Comms tab is where an Agent can setup their email settings (SMTP), SMS settings and email signature.  

 

SMTP 


An agent can either use their own SMTP or use the Nomisma default SMTP as their outgoing server and this can used to send outgoing emails. 

To use the Nomisma default SMTP select the Default Nomisma SMTP option, enter the relevant email ID and then click Save. After you click Save, a verification email is sent to you from Amazon Web Services (AWS) where a link within that email will complete the verification once clicked on. 


 


To use your own SMTP select the Provide Your Own SMTP option, enter the relevant details and then click Save.  

 

SMS 


The Sender ID is what the client will see when they receive a text message instead of a phone number (these text messages cannot be responded to directly). Enter this within the Sender ID field (which will have a 11-character limit), click Save and it will then take up to 48 hours for the SMS service to be active. 

  

Letter Sign Off 

The Letter Sign Off allows an Agent to create their own email signature template that will be used on all emails sent out to clients. Text can be populated and formatted to the Agent’s preference using the tools within the editing menu.  


 

They are also able to upload any photos (company logo) to the Letter Sign Off by first clicking the image icon within the editing menu, going to the upload section within the pop-up page, choosing a file, sending it to the server and then clicking Ok.
